The Road to Salvation

“For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.”

(Romans 3:23) We all have a sinful nature, naturally and by our own choice.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

(Romans 6:23) Eternal life is a free gift, we cannot work our way into it.

“But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

(Romans 5:8) When we were His enemies Christ gave His life for us.

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”

. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified; and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10) We must trust Him and surrender ourselves to Jesus as our Lord.

“For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved”.

(Romans 10:13) We only have assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ, “there is none other name under heaven whereby we might be saved!”
