Why are those that grew up in Christian homes leaving the Church?

A recent survey showed that 63% do not believe Jesus is the Son of God!, 51% do not believe that Jesus rose from the dead!, 65% do not believe satan is a real entity!, 68% do not believe the Holy Spirit is a real entity!, 70% believe there us no absolute moral truth! and 58% believe all faiths teach equally valid truths!

Church membership has fallen 48% since 1999. Only 9% of born again believers have a biblical world view, which means their world view is that of the worlds. As we can see this is a disturbing sequence of belief in the Word of God. So where does this begin?

It is estimated that 69 to 94% of youth in the church have abandoned the faith of their parents by the time they graduate high school. The largest group leaving the church is those in the 7th grade. By the time they are in 7th grade they have already in their heart and mind abandoned the truth of God’s Word. They will leave the church at graduation from high and few will ever return!

What is the biggest reason they are leaving?

Evolution: is the biggest reason!

From the time they are in kindergarten they are bombarded with the lie that evolution is a proven fact, which it is not! It is drilled into their heads through the educational system, through movies, magazines, television, some scientists and many teachers and professors.

When they ask their parents and others about evolution, trying to understand, for the Bible teaches, and rightly so, that the Lord created the earth and all that is in it. The solar system, the sun and the moon, animals plants and human beings in just 6 days. What would you tell your child if they asked you about dinosaurs dying out over 65 million years, and that we evolved from apes (the newest theory is that we evolved from rats) and other questions which the religion of evolution puts into their heads.

So it behooves us to learn how to answer these questions. The eternal souls of our children, and who knows how many others depend upon our answers.
